Redefining Spirituality Through Sacred Art + Ritual.

Artist, Mystic, Polymath, Autodidact.

Auriel is a mixed-media esoteric artist and writer who draws inspiration from nature, the supernatural, and her own unconventional life experiences, all viewed through a neurodivergent lens.

Through her portraiture, otherworldly landscapes, sculptures, sigils, decks, and writings, she aims to guide viewers toward their own North Star, serving as a mirror of expression, much like others have guided her through their reflections. Auriel encourages introspection and creativity as a means to overcome feelings of being trapped or helpless (no matter their circumstance), ultimately helping individuals alter their perceptions of themselves, the world, and others.

Her art focuses on embracing the unique strengths and weaknesses of both individual and collective natures, nurturing them as integral parts of life. She promotes discernment about when, where, and how to engage with both conventional wisdom and the unquantifiable, both of which hold potential.

Auriel is dedicated to The Great Work and shares her insights through the Bohemian principles of truth, beauty, freedom, and love. She highlights the wonder and intricacy of seemingly simple things, encouraging viewers to pause rather than rush in the face of harsh realities. This mindful approach enables better actions with less need for backtracking. Through her experiences, she has learned that internal and external challenges can often lead us away from where we genuinely want to be, and that finding balance is possible through shifts in perspective, inspired by numerous sources.

Her work can be paradoxical and even triggering, but Auriel believes this authenticity is essential for progress. She feels that people are most ready to break away from outdated belief systems, projections, and apathy when they can no longer escape their realities. Ultimately, she views these moments as the starting point for lasting change, and her work stands in solidarity with this aim, as it is both necessary and steadfastly attuned to the current times.

"A Time for Birthday Wishes, and a Release of Control"

[April, 2026]

As I write this month's update after more events, I am recalling how cyclic Birthday months are for closing out the old, sitting in reflections, facing reality, and setting new intentions that integrate the old into something new.

There is still much up in the air, and yet that is the path I have chosen that includes risks and lessons of often a harsher nature, and still, I am all the richer in spirit for it.

I have weathered storms and projections and let the mini-vacation- Washington-rain wash away any wasteful thinking, so truth could clear the air of any frustrations in my heart that have lingered from what seemed like decades of wasted potential.

I let silver linings shine more than they used to, and anchored into my own inner trust to ground me through all that has been out of my control (including health issues as I underwent a sinuplasty, had a scratched cornea, autoimmune stress outbreak, and a minor scraping after a fall).

At the end of April, as I near my Beltane 41st Birthday, I took note of the lighter side of this chaotic month, such as hitting more creative and professional deadline milestones in record time. On the heels of March's inner child self-portrait, I also finished an Ozzy tribute piece for an upcoming international traveling exhibit.

To close this month's update, I made crochet progress on my esoteric heirloom coat to unwind, a labor of love with no goal but to unfold with the cycles of my little world. Happy Birthday indeed.
